Spring Bouquet

Hi everyone, Dorinda here today.

I'm totally ready for some spring flowers and this DoveArt Studios image called

 Bouquet

is perfect.

I stamped it off with light grey ink so that i could enhance the delicacy of the flowers.

Then, I lay down an under painting with copics. BV00, YG03 and Y00

Finally, I took a few colored pencils to emphasize the line divisions; adding a bit of greyed lavender to the shadows.

Super simple and perfect for any occasion.

Oh Christmas Tree

Hello All, Dorinda here with a little coloring.

I've used Christmas Tree from the latest DoveArt Release.

I had a blast coloring this one in no lines technique.

I used my copics to do a wash of under-color; 

then added some prisma pencil on top.

The Prismas were used specifically with a sharp point to do the pine.

I added Spica blue on the light string and a bit of shimmer on the bulbs

with glitter pen

Smiles in Bloom

I just love flower images.

As I colored this DoveArt image up, it seemed to transform to Spring.

Sea Beauty

I am not a girly girl but I'm not a tomboy type either.

I can enjoy a good reptile now and again

but I prefer it from a nice safe distance.

 

However, I have loved this image since I've first seen it.

It was my goal last week, to finally color it up.

Honestly, I was afraid I wouldn't do it justice

I've seen Jenn Dove's and Delphine's versions

OMGosh, they are so awesome.

 

So, I persevered and I'm so happy I did.

I love my little fellow.

The kiddos are back in school and it's time to get my color on.

I've had him half done for a few weeks now. Ugh.

Harvest Delight

 

I've been coloring a lot of sweets lately.

I think I'm gaining weight through osmosis.

I'm gonna try to color clean for a while and see if that helps :D

 

Seriously, I just love this image; since first I saw it.
