Anchor Beach Scene

Hi Everyone,

I just love how this scene worked out using the gorgeous Anchor Rubber Stamp.

It's often difficult to find good images for manly cards that we actually want to colour. ;)  teehee.
I found creating a whole beach themed scene gave me the extra excitement to be creative.

I don't do much watercolouring but decided to have a little fun with this one.

Using a combination of Derwent Inktense pencils and Distress Inks
I attempted to watercolour the scene.
I do like the 'subdued' result but those trees turned into a mess! haha

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs

Zoe

Happy Father's Day

This beautiful card was done by Maria.  I love the simplicity of the card.   The subtle clouds are such a compliment to the stamp.   I think sometimes we tend to overcomplicate cards, when really they can just speak for themselves.  You can see more of her work on her blog HERE.

You can purchase this stamp "Anchor" at CCDesigns or at one of your local stores.

You're My Anchor

I love this stamp.  Currently living in Arizona having moved here from Alaska I find that I miss the sea the most.  Prior to Alaska I have always lived near an ocean.  This stamp "Anchor" reminds me of home.  One of my dear friends had a sailboat named Spirit so I felt it was perfect.  I found this to be an easy image to color and can be used for any occasion.

You can find this stamp at your local scrapbook stores or online at LMMS or CCDESIGNS
