Great Horned Owl

Hi there :)

Do you struggle making cards for men? I did until I started using DoveArt Studios rubber stamps as a lot of them lend themselves to male cards just like the Great Horned Owl, so keeping it simple as I like to do I put together this card that I think is ideal for a male's birthday card. What do you think?

Great Horned Owl coloured with Copic Markers - 

Owl - E51, 53, 55, 57, BV20, 23, W7, Y15, 17. Tree - E44, 47, 49, G46.

I used Distressed Oxide ink with a sponge and a small 'grass' rubber stamp for the background.

Tall Cactus!

How are you today? I'm here to share my latest DoveArt Studios creation :)

It's a clean and simple card featuring 'Tall Cactus' rubber stamp. I've made this card with my step Dad in mind as he is a keen gardener.

Not Just a 'Pocket'

Hi, I'm back again :)

This time I'm sharing this fun 'thank you' card using the very versatile 'Pocket' stamp from DoveArt Studios.

This pocket could be used for males and females young or old because almost everyone has worn denim jeans at sometime in their lives, it can be used to hold a gift card or money or just a little note, for Birthdays or Christmas really the possibilities are endless.

Pocket 

I used four Copic Markers to colour this stamp - B34, 37, W3, 5. and a Gold Gel Pen for the stitches. 

I made the little 'Levi's' tag using some scrap red card, a white opaque pen and a small circle punch. 

The 'Cheers' die is from Lawn Fawn, The studs are split pins I have had for awhile and can't remember where they are from sorry. 

I stamped the 'Pocket'  twice colouring the bottom one around the pocket then only colouring the pocket on the other, I then hand cut the coloured pocket and cut the word die out, then cut six extra 'cheers' words to use to build up the word finishing with the coloured word for this fun effect.

Hello Horse!

Hey Good Looking, I'm back today with CAS card featuring 'Horse Head' and fun sentiment from the 'Perfectly Beautiful' sentiments stamp. 

Every evening after dinner my husband our dog and I head off for a walk with a carrot in hand for a beautiful grey horse we stop and talk to on the way, she can't get to us quickly enough when she see's us coming and this stamp resembles her beautifully. She loves her carrot!

House Warming Raccoon

Hello friends,

I decided to make a house warming invitation today that's a little different to what might be expected and I hope a little humorous :) I printed the invitation information then stamped 'Raccoon' and coloured him, a quick and easy way to make invitations,

I Love Bad Doggy

Ok so I won't be doing a colour list for this guy lol, I stamped 'Bad Doggy' ready to colour and whist I was working out what papers I would use I popped him on this paper and immediately fell in love with it so decided to just leave him uncoloured, which shows you that these stamps look great whether you are a colourer or not :)

The Beautiful Robin on a Branch

I'm here today to share this card I made using the beautiful Robin on a Branch it's such a peaceful stamp and after a few rough days this was exactly what I needed to help me relax. I hope it also brings you peace.

Fantail Goldfish Shaker Card

Hello, Andrea here today :)

I loved colouring this gorgeous 'Fantail Goldfish' from DoveArt Studios and thought it would be fun to make it into a shaker card, with tiny blue glass beads to represent the water so he can have a swim lol.

I coloured the goldfish with Copic's and Kaszazz Alcohol Markers.

Hello :) Who's excited about the new release? Me me me! 13 new stamps and I love them all :)

I shared these card's during the New Release Hop but didn't list the colours so I have them for you today.

I wanted to make the Unicorn stand out so I went for dramatic colours, I think it worked ;)

Beautiful Winter Cardinals

I just finished making this card and had to blog it straight away because I'm so happy with how it turned out :) the 'Winter Cardinals' were an absolute delight to colour and I just happened to have some beautiful patterned papers to match, usually I struggle with paper choices.

Brrrr Winter Pines

Christmas Horns

Hi, I'm back :)

This time I have my favorite of the Christmas in July release 'Christmas Horns' as soon as I laid eyes on this I had to colour it, to me it simply says 'Christmas'. 

It's also my favorite because when Jennifer saw my coloured image she asked if it could be used for the packaging for the stamp, I was thrilled and of course I said YES!
