Fish have Googly Eyes....

Hi Everyone,

I LOVE this fish but my favourite part is that the googly eye is so funny! It's just perfect I reckon. haha 

This was one of those cards that I was struggling with at first. I was a little disappointed with how my fish was looking but man oh man, when I thought to add the googly eye it just 'made' the card and everything fell into place for me.

Fantail Goldfish Rubber Stamp

I created the background using some watercolor paper that I spritzed with water before dripping a drop of Turquoise & Iris pigment Izink.

I allowed it to dry before die cutting the Mama Elephant 'friend' shape and stamping the sentiment.

"Tank You"

I had to copy the idea of doing a shaker card for this little fishy.  DT member Andrea made a super cute card and made it into a shaker card using beads....made me think of a fish in a fish tank.  I love how we can find inspiration from others...you never know what is going to spark creativity!

I airbrushed the background on glossy card stock and then misted it with alcohol creating this fun look.  I then added vellum for the foliage.  FUN FACT - Did you know that if you get vellum wet with water it will curl?  I finished it off by adding microbeads and shells for the "sand".

Fantail Goldfish Shaker Card

Hello, Andrea here today :)

I loved colouring this gorgeous 'Fantail Goldfish' from DoveArt Studios and thought it would be fun to make it into a shaker card, with tiny blue glass beads to represent the water so he can have a swim lol.

I coloured the goldfish with Copic's and Kaszazz Alcohol Markers.

Goldfish - Y21, 30, 35. A1205, A7406.

Bubbles - W1, 0.
