The amazing boots!

Hi Everyone,

I've coloured the famous boots a few times now and it's fun to see how they change a little each time and how they become easier to colour too!

Boots Rubber Stamp

This was my first attempt at colouring the boots. I was going for the cherry matte finish.

I wish I could remember the colours I used for this image! Perfect reason to try and keep track of colours for your future self. ;)

At Jennifer's amazing COPIC BOOTCAMP she helps to guide all the attendees through colouring the boots.

I have had fun colouring them with bright colours.

Jennifer and I also had so much fun playing a game where we would pass the 'Boots' back and forth after 5 minute intervals. The end result of each image was extraordinary.

It's fun to see how you can creatively turn what you would imagine is just a picture of 'boots' into something so cool and different!

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

 Something a little different from me today. I don't normally put so much 'stuff' on my cards, but I do like to duff up my papers from time to time. I felt like it suited these Boots. And tell me you're not gonna be singing that song for the rest of the day... ;)

My Hero!

I used the New Barrel Cactus Cluster and combined it with the Boot Stamp.  I couldn't stop there so I added the NEW Star background.  I really love the feel of this card.  Somehow it had a very calming effect on me. 

Copic colors I used are:

Boots and Stars - E81 E84 E87 E89

Boot-i-licious

Here is a little more inspiration from the talented Zoe with MakeIt Crafty.  She colored up the "Boots" from the September release.

These are so cool and she came up with the cute sentiment too. haha!

She always wanted a "cherry" colored pair of Doc's so she decided to color them up cherry colored using her Copics.

For Reals!!

The whole thing that got me started were these boots.  A little leather, a little rubber and a bunch of Copics.  I am a huge Dr. Marten fan.  I own quite a few pairs and they are my signature style.  One day, when I used to have extra time on my hands, I decided to draw a pair.  This is what I drew.  After demands from students that this be made into a stamp...here it is!  In my retreats which I call "Boot Camp" everyone gets to color them.  They all look at me like I am crazy but the end result is stunning!
